Hello, I’m Lara. I am a maternity, newborn, and family portrait photographer based in Papamoa.
I became a photographer because I realized how quickly the most beautiful seasons of our lives slip by. The quiet anticipation of a pregnancy, the delicate smell of a brand-new baby, the sound of a toddler’s belly laugh—these aren't just moments. They are the foundations of your family’s story.
My goal is to give those fleeting chapters a permanent, elegant home. I don't focus on stiff posing, matching trends, or chaotic props. Instead, I create a calm, beautiful space where the focus stays exactly where it belongs: on the raw connection and deep love within your family.
My Approach Behind the Lens
The Calm in the Chaos: I know that stepping in front of a camera can feel vulnerable—especially when you are heavily pregnant or completely sleep-deprived. I pride myself on creating an unhurried, peaceful atmosphere where you can completely relax.
Baby-Led Safety: Your baby’s safety and comfort are my absolute highest priorities. My studio sessions are entirely paced by your little one, ensuring plenty of time for feeding, soothing, and gentle transitions.
